We hope you will follow along with us as we celebrate 50 years of empowering futures.
Please continue reading below for important updates and upcoming events to ensure you have a successful kickoff to the 2024-2025 school year.

Regardless of the first day of school in your home district, transportation will be running from the home schools to DACC beginning August 14th.
If you know in advance that your child will be absent or tardy, fill out the Absence Form found on our website or the homepage of the DACC app.
See our Attendance FAQ for more information as well as calendars to all of our home schools and contact information for home school transportation departments.
Construction on State Route 23:
We are aware of construction on 23 North near Kroger in Delaware, causing slowed traffic and delays. Please allow for additional drive time while this area is under construction.
Thomas Worthington High School Students:
Our Thomas Worthington High School/DACC students will start classes at DACC on August 14th for new students and August 15th for returning students. Despite TWHS starting later this year, Worthington City Schools will begin providing transportation on August 14th.
At DACC, we are using Canvas as our Learning Management System (LMS). Canvas is a web-based learning management system that gives instructors, students, and parents access to view and manage online course learning materials.
Additionally, the system empowers instructors, students, and parents to communicate about skill development and learning achievement.
Visit our website for more detailed information about Canvas, including:
How to set up an account
How students can set up a pairing code for a parent or guardian (get started with instructions on how to set up a pairing code here)
What you can and cannot do with Canvas
How to download the app
We also use Powerschool to display student grades and attendance.
While Canvas provides an interactive view of what is currently being assigned and submitted in a given class, PowerSchool publishes grades and attendance when that information has been finalized and submitted by the instructor. We encourage all parents and students to log into PowerSchool regularly to review these items.
More information about Powerschool and how to set up your account can be found on our website here. Please note that if you are already using PowerSchool at your student's associate district, you will need to create a new account for DACC using a different email address than the email address you are already using for your existing account.
