The Delaware Area Career Center proudly celebrates the success of the first graduating class of the Broadband Infrastructure Training Program (BITP).
DACC will host Career Tech on Saturday, April 5th, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Students in grades 3-5 and their parents are invited to DACC to engage in a career awareness experience in a unique classroom environment.
Explore your choice of one or two sessions, each lasting an hour, in areas such as App Development and Programming, Digital Design, Biotechnology, and Dental Assisting. Students will engage in a fun, hands-on project in each area.
Our DACC Public Relations Internship students are gaining real-world experience by auditing the DACC website, and they need your help! Your feedback will not only improve the website for future families but also support our students as they build their skills and portfolios. Please take a moment to complete this survey about your experience with our website.
The Sunbury Galena Rotary, Delaware Rotary, and Olentangy Rotary Clubs are offering scholarships to graduating seniors who will complete a two-year program at DACC. Applicants may utilize the scholarship dollars to pursue further education in their field, to purchase needed tools for their chosen vocation, or to pay fees (i.e., needed certifications or licensing) required for beginning the occupation for which they’ve been trained. Last year, we awarded over $30,000 in scholarships to around twenty students.
Selection Criteria:
Applicant must complete the required application.
Applicant must be a graduating senior and a completer of DACC. Preference will be given to Delaware County Students.
Consideration will be given to academic accomplishments, community service, extracurricular activities, career objectives, and financial need.
Application Process: Applications must be submitted using this Google Form no later than Tuesday, April 1, 2025. If you need a hard copy of the application, please stop by the main office and see Mr. Gilliam. The decision of the committee is final and not subject to appeal.
The committee, comprised of members of the rotary clubs, will interview applicants and notify them of their decision by mid-May at the DACC Senior Awards Ceremony.
This two-year scholarship will be awarded to a senior who is starting at Columbus State Community College and will cover the cost of tuition and books up to $5,000 each academic year. The award will be based on academic achievement, school activities, community service, financial need, and a personal interview. In addition to completing an application, each applicant should become familiar with Rotary and will be asked to write an essay on how they exemplify the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self” in 250 words or less, plus a personal statement in 250 words or less, provide their work experience and two letters of recommendation.
Application Deadline: April 1, 2025 – Apply using this Google Form.

We would like to remind you that fees for the 2024-2025 school year are now due. You can check your fee balances on PowerSchool. Additionally, charges have been applied to the accounts of students who have received a new Chromebook. For more information, visit the fees webpage or reach out to Lilian Robinson at 740-203-2230 if you have any questions.
At the Delaware Area Career Center, we prioritize the well-being and academic success of our students. If a student feels unwell after they have already arrived on campus, we encourage them to visit the clinic, where our healthcare professional will provide care and support. In the event that a student needs to go home, we will personally contact a parent or guardian to arrange this. The student will then be able to leave directly from the clinic as soon as their ride arrives, streamlining the process for everyone.
We kindly ask that students refrain from directly contacting parents to pick them up during school hours. This approach ensures minimal disruption to classes and allows our teachers to maintain an effective learning environment. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in this collaborative effort to support our students' health and education.
Regardless of the first day of school in your home district, transportation will be running from the home schools to DACC beginning August 14th.
If you know in advance that your child will be absent or tardy, fill out the Absence Form found on our website or the homepage of the DACC app.
See our Attendance FAQ for more information as well as calendars to all of our home schools and contact information for home school transportation departments.
